Open Source software such as the Linux operating system has gained wide acceptance in the machine and automation industry. But what is Open Source software all about, anyway? How is it developed and what needs to be considered when it is used in a product? Listen to Bruce Perens, one of the "inventors" of Open Source, and Till Jaeger, a recognized expert in Open Source law, and leading Linux kernel developers such as Alan Cox, Thomas Gleixner, Greg Kroah-Hartman, and Andrew Morton who will all speak at this extraordinary congress organized by OSADL. English/German simultaneous interpreting available.
