A survey on Remote Service Management

Future Factory Initiative and Remote Service Management in industrial automation

OSADL member Intel Corporation is collaborating with SAP Research, the global technology research unit of SAP AG, to foster research and development in the area of Remote Service Management. In the context of the Future Factory Initiative (www.sap.com/futurefactory), led by SAP Research, both companies are investigating how new hardware and software technology can be applied to facilitate Remote Service Management in industrial automation.

Internet survey

To gain a better insight into the requirements of the industry with respect to Remote Service Management, Intel is conducting an Internet survey and would like to ask the audience of this Web site to support this survey. Additionally, all participants of the survey will get the chance to win a trolley briefcase.

If you are willing to help, please have a look at the Internet form at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/intel_survey. It contains 13 questions and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

The survey ends on January 20, 2011.
