Description and Agenda
The Open Source License Obligations Checklists project is a project to create and disseminate generally accepted rules to fulfill the obligations when distributing software that is licensed under commonly used Open Source licenses.
In the second project meeting we would like to further synchronize what we have reached so far and coordinate the next steps.
- Continuation of definitions of terms
- Continuation of definitions of actions
- Compilation of additional license texts
- Integration of license-specific templates
- Integration and referencing of copyleft hints
- Integration and referencing of patent hints
- Integration of a mechanism for approval of licenses and templates
- Further development of the "language"
The preliminary agenda is the following:
- Information on current situation of the project and, particularly, the web interface (Dr. Carsten Emde)
- Information on current status of the work on the various licenses (Dr. Till Jaeger)
- Parallel working groups on the checklists files.

- Editorial notes
- Selected licenses
- Selected actions and terms
Participants who are unable to attend the meeting in person may bring in comments, questions, concerns and other contributions in advance. Just send us your contributions before the meeting by email to officeªosadl.org. Alternatively, you may use the feedback forms on the respective pages.

Access is limited to participants of the project "Open Source License Obligations Checklists". The project is still open for participation; details can be found in the letter of intent of the project. Anybody who would like to join may contact the project organizers at officeªosadl.org.

Venue:
The workshop will take place at the ConferenceCenter of Heidelberg Technology Park, Im Neuenheimer Feld 582 in Heidelberg. The meeting room "Montpellier" is located in the second floor of the building. Please go directly upstairs and follow the signs to the meeting.
By car:
A map to calculate directions to the ConferenceCenter of the Heidelberg Technology Park is available here. A limited number of parking lots is available and will be reserved for the participants of the meeting.
Public transportation:
The ConferenceCenter of the Heidelberg Technology Park is located about two and a half kilometers away from Heidelberg main railway station. The electric tram lines RNV 21 and RNV 24 direction „Handschuhsheim” take about six minutes, the closest tram stop is „Technologiepark”. You will reach the conference rooms from there in a short walk.
