The mission of the Real-Time Systems Laboratory (RETIS lab) at the Scuola Superiore Sant' Anna in Pisa, Italy, is to conduct research, both theoretical and applied, in the field of Information Technology. Its specific focus is centered on Real-Time Embedded Systems design and analysis, including telecommunication systems, automotive, multimedia, industrial control.
ReTiS occupies a prominent position in the international scientific community in the area of real-time systems, as demonstrated by the volume of publications produced by the laboratory. This international role of the laboratory is confirmed by the many research projects, financed primarily by the European Union, in which the lab collaborates with prestigious foreign universities.
