As is the case with proprietary software, Open Source licenses grant rights but also impose obligations which have to be fulfilled when conveying the software. The general company compliance requirements include the license-compliant fulfillment of these obligations. In the Seminar on Legal Basics: Open Source Software in Industry (Juristisches Seminar: Open Source-Software in der Industrie) participants will gain comprehensive insight into rights and obligations of the various Open Source licenses and learn how to cope with everyday's challenges with respect to license compliance.
