Software Quality Engineer - Software Audit and Process (f/m/d) @ OpenSynergy GmbH

Your mission

You will take part in projects being involved with all phases of the software development process to ensure the appropriate level of quality.  Your responsibility is to work within one or more development teams assisting the team in creating software that adheres to our Quality Management System and is fit for release. You will have experience in supporting composition analysis and license management and report directly to Quality Director and be a member of the independent Quality and Test Team.

Your profile

  • You have completed a BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or in a related field
  • Experience in providing hands on quality support to development teams, coaching in process implementation and assuring compliance
  • Experience in the evaluation of open source security, license compliance, and code quality using composition analysis tools (such as Blackduck)
  • Experience in quality planning, assessment and auditing within the automotive, mobile, Aerospace or embedded industries
  • Experience tailoring and deploying international software standards such as Automotive SPICE, ISOS26262, ISO 21434 or Agile solutions for embedded software.
  • Analyzing and improving development processes in close collaboration with engineering teams
  • Experience in conducting RCA, 8D and other process improvement activities
  • You have a good command of English
 
Furthermore, experience in the following fields is of high value:
  • Development experience with embedded software
  • Qualified Assessor in Automotive ASPICE
  • Basic German
  • You work well within a team and take a creative, hands-on approach to the benefit of those around you
