Regular member of the cooperative
OSADL is a registered cooperative and invites individuals and companies from all over the world to join in as regular member of the cooperative. To become a regular member is straightforward:
- Download the declaration of membership from below, select the membership level (Bronze, Silver or Gold), have the two sections of the declaration completed and signed each of them by someone who has the right to do so.
- Please send the completed document to OSADL (Im Neuenheimer Feld 583 in 69120 Heidelberg/Germany) and a copy by email (officeªosadl.org).
- You will then receive a letter of acceptance and an invoice for the one-time acquisition of the share or shares and the annual flat-rate service fee in the amount of 8,000 euros per share. Months of the year that have already passed are not counted.
- Start to use and enjoy the many legal and technical services OSADL is providing to facilitate conveying Open Source software in industrial products.

Cooperation within OSADL and between OSADL members is based on a guide to anti-trust law that was accepted by all existing OSADL members and must be acknowledged by future members. The original version in German can be downloaded from here. An English version is also available.
Associate members
In addition, OSADL has associate members - base level for start-ups and small companies, Bronze, Silver and Gold level for other companies who do not want to become a member of the cooperative and organization for organizations. Academic members
Universities and other academic institutes are invited to join in the OSADL community as academic member. More information as well as the application form are available here:
