The name Fronius has stood for intensive research and the constant search for new, innovative solutions in the field of control of energy since 1945. That was the year Günter Fronius established an electrical shop in Pettenbach/Austria and commenced the development of battery chargers. Soon afterwards, the small company already employed 15 people and added the first welding transformers to its product portfolio. Since the mid-1990s, the company has also been working in the field of solar energy, so that today Fronius displays its expertise in three divisions: Perfect Welding, Solar Energy and Perfect Charging. The perfect efficiency of every service and product has repeatedly been awarded both national and international prizes.
