We are a non-profit civil association made up of academic institutions, companies, professionals and students related to Information Technology and interested in the Internet of Things (IoT).

Mission
To facilitate the link between the academic, productive and industrial sectors, for the generation of new high-value products and services in the Internet of Things, which promote the economic and productive development of the regions in Mexico.

Vision
To create a five-sphere participation model (quintuple helix), to share knowledge, innovation and best practices, promoting sustainable development and the circular economy in Mexican society through the Internet of Things.

Objectives

  • To facilitate the open development of standards, protocols, administration and technical infrastructure of the Internet.
  • To promote professional development in academic institutions.
  • To build a community to encourage participation and leadership in important areas for the evolution of the Internet of Things.
  • Manage and coordinate strategic initiatives and outreach efforts in humanitarian, educational, social and other contexts.
  • Provide reliable information on the Internet of Things.
  • Foster an environment of international cooperation for the development of regional Internet of Things projects.
  • Serve as a focal point for cooperative efforts to promote the Internet of Things as a tool to benefit social well-being.Open forums for discussion of issues affecting the evolution, development and use of the Internet of Things in technical, commercial, social and other contexts.
