Conference: "Open Source meets Industry" at the Hannover Fair 2009

Learn what Open Source means in the everyday's routine of a company

Open Source meets Industry

Open Source software such as the Linux operating system has gained wide acceptance in the machine and automation industry. But introducing Open Source into a company may have an impact on the way people interact and collaborate. In addition, legal procedures, business plans and marketing strategies may need to be adapted. Let's assume a company is planning to use, develop and distribute Open Source software. What must be considered?

To answer this question, OSADL is organizing a conference on Open Source and Linux in the industry at the Hannover Fair 2009. The conference will take place in the Pavilion of the Robotation Academy (Pavilion 36, map and directions, layout plan). It will be held in German language.
